What This Desk Is, and What It Refuses To Do

An independent literature digest on four repair peptides, organised the way a clinical briefing is organised: what it is, what is shown, what to watch, what is unknown.

What this is

Saints Peptides is an independent research digest covering four compounds from the tissue-repair literature — BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu and the KLOW blend — read specifically through the question of bone, cartilage and the harder tissues.

It is not a clinic, a vendor, a laboratory or a supplier. It sells nothing, dispenses nothing and recommends nothing. It has no products, no consultations and no protocols.

The angle is deliberate. There are many general summaries of these four peptides. What is harder to find is a summary that asks the specific question most readers actually arrived with — whether any of them does anything for bone, joints or cartilage — and then reports honestly that the cited literature does not contain an answer. That absence is more useful than a confident guess, and it is the organising fact of this site.

The editorial rules

Four rules govern every page here.

One: the model species goes in the sentence, not the footnote. A result in a Wistar rat and a result in a person are different kinds of object. Reporting them in identical language is the single most common way peptide writing misleads, and it is usually done by omission rather than by assertion. Every claim on this site names the species, the model and, where relevant, whether the molecule tested was the one being sold.

Two: no dosing, ever. Doses used in cited studies are reported as study facts, attributed to the study and the species. Nothing on this site is a recommendation, a protocol or a suggestion, and none of the community-reported material carries doses at all.

Three: anecdote is labelled as anecdote. Community reports from research-use forums are included, because pretending they do not exist does readers no favours and because they are frequently the only account of what these compounds feel like. They are labelled anecdotal, not clinical evidence, every time, and they are never presented as a finding.

Four: claims stop where the evidence stops. No peptide here is described as regrowing or restoring cartilage, because none has been shown to do so in a blinded human trial. What the studies measured is reported. What they did not measure is stated as not measured.

How to read a page here

Each compound page follows the same clinical-briefing arc: a plain-English summary first, then what the compound is, then how it works, then what the research shows with the species attached to each result, then the reported effects and safety cautions, then a closing assessment of where it stands against the hard-tissue question specifically.

Bracketed numbers such as [4] are citations. Each one resolves to a numbered entry on the references page, with journal, year and a DOI or PubMed link, so any statement can be traced back to its source and read independently. Quantitative claims — percentages, sample sizes, half-lives, effect sizes — carry a citation without exception.

None of these compounds is an approved medicine. All four are sold for laboratory research use only, two are prohibited in sport at all times, and product identity and purity in non-regulated supply are unverified. Those facts are repeated on every compound page rather than tucked into a disclaimer, because they are part of the evidence picture rather than an afterthought to it.
