**EDITORIAL DESK**

This desk answers questions about the literature it summarises. It does not answer questions about what anyone should take.

## What the desk answers

Three kinds of message get a reply.

**Corrections.** If a claim on this site misstates what a cited study found, misattributes a species or a model, or reports a number the source does not support, that is a defect and it will be fixed. Corrections carrying the reference number and the specific sentence are the fastest to act on.

**Citation questions.** Every bracketed number resolves to an entry on the references page with a DOI or PubMed link. If a source is unreachable, or a claim appears to rest on something other than the study attached to it, the desk wants to know.

**Coverage requests.** This file covers four compounds under one question. Suggestions for compounds or angles worth the same treatment are read, though not every one gets built.

## What the desk does not answer

The desk does not give dosing information, protocols, sourcing advice, vendor recommendations or product assessments, and it does not have any to give. None of the four compounds covered here is an approved medicine, and this site has no commercial relationship with anyone who sells them.

It also does not answer personal medical questions. Whether any substance is appropriate for a particular person, a particular injury or a particular set of medications is a clinical question, and it belongs with a qualified clinician who can see the whole picture — not with a literature summary.

Messages asking for either category will not receive a substantive reply. Messages pointing out an error in the literature reporting will.
